We decided long ago that we would never offer a hunt that we would not want to book ourselves, if we were the hunter. You see, we are turkey hunters FIRST and outfitters second. We won't sell it unless it is a high-quality, high-percentage hunt that we would enjoy as much as our clients. That is EXACTLY what we have found in our Florida Osceola hunt.

We are hunting the High Springs area of NE Florida. This is just about as far North as you can hunt and still kill a true Osceola. The advantage of hunting this far North is that you are mainly hunting ranch and pasture land instead of the palmetto swamps found farther South.

Our local guide has access to thousands of acres. While this is definitely a free range hunt, and these are no doubt wild birds, you should not have any trouble filling a tag. This hunt would be a perfect choice for either the guy wanting to kill an Osceola to finish up his Grand Slam, or someone just wanting to hunt some new territory. These properties are an easy drive from the beaches on the East coast, so take the whole family and make a vacation of it!

This 3 day fully guided hunt (1 on 1) runs $1500 for 1 bird. If unsuccessful after 3 days, you could possibly pick up a 4th day for an additional fee to give you the best chance of killing a bird. This price if for the hunt only. Food, lodging, and license costs are the responsibility of the hunter. We can recommend hotels and restaurants that are located conveniently to our properties.

The 2012 Spring turkey season will run from March 17 - April 22nd in this area. Please check with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for detailed hunting regulations and license requirements.
